MforS 3D-printed Handbag & Clutch - V2/10 - Rhombille Pattern

Rhombille is one of the patterns in the M for S Handbag & Clutch V2 collection: bags made entirely from 3D-printed parts, with no mesh fabric, glue or hardware, that stand upright on their own. Each pattern comes as a handbag, with a rounded handle printed in one piece, or as a clutch, with a folding lid that also prints in one piece.

The panels are tiled with interlocking rhombi that read as a field of tumbling cubes, an optical illusion that comes alive in two-tone prints.

The assembly is the same across the whole collection, so front and back panels, bases and fasteners can be mixed between patterns. The top surfaces of the pattern sit at different heights, so a two-colour bag needs no multi-material printer: pause the print at the right layer and swap the filament. Designed for print beds of 256 × 256 mm and larger.
