Milan Sipek, born 1984 in Amsterdam The Netherlands, is a Dutch interior designer, architectural designer, crystal artist, and furniture designer. Milan Sipek is also the pioneer creator of the "plug in cushion" furniture brand Morphit.
Milan Sipek worked in China for 12 years. During that time he established two design companies; an architecture and interior design firm, and a design furniture manufacturing company. He has been granted three furniture design patents, founded a furniture brand, and a brand of crystal art.
Born in Amsterdam in 1984, Sipek grew up in an artistic household, with his parents being esteemed artists Bambi Uden and Borek Sipek. At the age of seventeen, he traveled with his father to work on various projects around the world, including the Czech presidential library, Hotel Neruda, and the Yu Garden Renaissance Hotel in Shanghai. This experience sparked a passion in Sipek for art and design, and in 2010 he founded Sipek Design Co. Ltd in Shanghai, China.
Over the next decade, Sipek worked on a variety of prestigious projects all over China, including private villas and large-scale hotel projects such as the Mangrove Tree Resort Hotel, the Atlantis Hotel in Sanya, and several villas in the JiuJianTang Villa complex. Sipek is known for creating artwork that serves as highlighting decor, including large-scale sculptures made from Czech crystal glass that are designed to interact with light and shadow.
In 2020, Sipek returned to Europe and settled in Amsterdam, where he founded Sipek Design B.V. His innovative spirit has continued to inspire him to explore new realms of art and design, including his work in creating paintings using virtual reality and a paint projection nozzle.
This pioneering technique allows for a limitless perspective and space in the artwork, and Sipek's dedication to testing and combining various techniques to achieve the results he desires has garnered him recognition and praise in the art world.

Milan Sipek comes from a family of top crystal artists in the world. His grandfather and grandmother occupy an important position in the history of world glass art, while his father, Borek Sipek, is a world-renowned architect and crystal artist. Even celebrities and dignitaries like Hillary Clinton, Tyson, and Leslie Cheung are proud to collect the Sipek family brand.
Though he may look more like a big boy than the mature image in his brochure, Sipek's dedication to his craft is unmistakable. He works tirelessly, often more than ten hours a day, and his strict attention to detail is evident in all his designs. Born in Amsterdam, Sipek lived in the Czech Republic until he was 16 years old. As a child, he knew he wanted to be a designer, and the seed of this dream was planted in his heart early on.
He received a set of toolbox toys on his eighth birthday and spent the entire afternoon building a small bookshelf that he could place on the bathtub and read while taking a bath. This was his first design. Though Sipek may have been born into a life of opportunity, his father never gave him a chance to be spoiled. From the age of 17, Sipek traveled with his father all over the world, working on art creation, architecture, and interior design.
At the age of 20, he was invited by Czech President Havel to complete the design of the Czech President's Office. When he was 23, Sipek received a project from the Shanghai Renaissance Hotel and thought it would be an ordinary job. He never expected to stay in China for more than ten years and complete one project after another. Sipek learned Chinese by himself and was able to master professional vocabulary like "glass" and "cement" with repetition.
