Broadening

This painting depicts the reassuring sense of agency found in the near endless potential found in either the future or in oneself. A horizon rests never far from sight and yet just out of reach, luring an impetus to close the indefinite distance. Meandering or otherwise, what path reveals itself proves never singular, instead expanding until there is no such direction to speak of. Dizzying with options, yet breathes a promise of hope as one looks on, for they are never short of a choice
