Craving

This painting is a depiction of lust, reducing the identity of present company to a baser variety. What one seeks can be revealed by how one perceives another. If a partner, do they recall the beauty of their smile? Or perhaps the gentle words of their wisdom? The stern but yielding concern? A part of them will always be a part of their identity, yet the mind does ever wander south before too long.
