Limping

This painting conveys the mistake of perceiving the disadvantaged by their lacking aspect, rather than the whole that defines them better. Helplessness is the first step to understanding frailty. More often than not, what is lacking can define the whole, more painfully so when it may be an essential aspect. There is more to the disadvantaged than what they may be missing, yet all the same we label them so. Unjust and unkind, yet the condition will wind around them all the say.
