Lingering

The tingle along the spine. The quiet muttering of a moment long passed. A rush of red fills your mind or your cheeks. It twists and turns you with a timid meekness, the wasp of a memory that stings at a moment's notice. This painting is the contorting pang of embarrassment for even the most trivial of things.
