Mirroring

This painting depicts the gradual influence a defining example could bring, as well as how implementations of a classic may bring a fresh form over time.

The echo of an archetype inevitably bends and curves away from its original definition. It will never be the narrow and true form of the source, but it will find itself building upon them in its meandering homage. One by one, the expression evolves until it adopts a vibrancy that the original could never achieve, and in time, it may be rewarded with familiar respect.
