Glancing

This painting holds the perspective of one who peeks, intentionally or otherwise, towards another. A passing view, a furtive peek, or an unintended peer in the wrong direction. However innocent, the window to one's mind has opened towards a sight not meant for observation. The marvelous appeal mingles deep with a pang of knowing guilt, and develops into a thrill that ought never to be pursued for the sake of decency.
