Pining

Sold 2021

This is a painting of relief and relaxation, for those who expect good fortune not far from now. There is bliss in those who wait for good news. For in waiting, they rest easy with indolence, not a care in the world. Even when there is naught but themselves to rely on, hope that something may come around the corner could fuel contentment indefinitely.
